Jungle Safari

Wildlife encounters in Nepal's subtropical lowlands

Service Overview

Wildlife Encounters in Nepal's Lowlands

Beyond the mountains, Nepal's subtropical lowlands harbor some of Asia's richest biodiversity. Our jungle safaris in Chitwan and Bardia National Parks offer intimate encounters with rhinoceros, Bengal tigers, wild elephants, gharial crocodiles, and over 500 species of birds in their natural habitat.

Chitwan National Park

Nepal's most famous wildlife destination, Chitwan is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to one of the largest populations of one-horned rhinoceros in the world. Activities include jeep safaris deep into the park, canoe rides on the Rapti River where you glide past basking crocodiles, guided jungle walks with naturalists, and visits to the elephant breeding center.

Bardia National Park

For a more remote and authentic experience, Bardia in western Nepal offers excellent tiger sightings with far fewer tourists. The park's dense sal forests and riverine habitats support diverse wildlife including Gangetic dolphins, langur monkeys, and the endangered Bengal florican. Bardia is where serious wildlife enthusiasts go when they want an uncrowded, genuine safari experience.

Tharu Cultural Immersion

Both parks are home to the indigenous Tharu people, whose unique culture has adapted to the jungle environment over centuries. Our safari packages include traditional Tharu village visits, captivating stick-dance performances, and authentic home-cooked meals — adding a rich cultural dimension to your wildlife adventure.
